Ingredients:
450g (1 lb) button mushrooms
120ml (4 fl oz) garlic dressing
100g (4 oz) smoked streaky bacon rashers, defined
3 Tablespoons chopped parsley
Directions:
Trim the mushroom stalks level with the caps, wipe the mushrooms with a damp cloth, place in a bowl with the dressing and toss well. Leave to stand for several hours, stirring occasionally, or overnight if possible. Grill the bacon until crisp, then crumble. Add to the marinated mushrooms with the parsley. Toss thoroughly and transfer to a serving dish.
Serves 4 to 6

Ingredients:
175ml (6 fl oz) olive oil
4 Tablespoons wine vinegar
1 Teaspoon French mustard
4 Cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
1 Teaspoon clear honey
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
Put all the ingredients in a screw-topped jar, adding salt and pepper to taste. Shake well to blend before serving.
