Tako with chicken and chili (Mexican recipes)

Today I will teach you to cook one of the most popular Mexican food — tacos spicy chili c. The tacos dictionary describes as «tortilla filled with spicy meat», and is considered a «light lunch». It is a sandwich of tortilla, folded in an envelope and filled with the most various fillings: grilled meat, seafood and even a cactus leaves. Let’s get started.

Cooking time ≈ 1 hour.

Ingredients:

12 tortillas (no corn, wheat and fit)
4 chicken breasts
4 tomatoes
2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
200 gr. chili (possible in banks, can be fresh)
2 cups leaf lettuce (etc)
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
salt, cumin, chili powder — to taste
Cut the lettuce into small pieces.

Just finely cut chili.

Cut the tomatoes into small cubes — the smaller will be the pieces, the tastier get tacos.

Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet. Cut into small pieces of chicken, season with pepper, salt and cumin, adding to the oil and fry a minute or two. Add to meat chili, sprinkle with chilli powder and fry until cooked.

Now you can cook yourself tortillas. There are two options: to fry in butter, to cakes were harder and fry without oil, to cakes were softer. The choice is yours, but I prefer to fry without oil — then turn crispy tacos, but not toasted. We spread the meat in the middle of corn tortillas.

Fried and folded in half on each side about 30-40 seconds.

The carefully ajar tacos pour grated Cheddar cheese.

Optionally, you can drop a little hot sauce and sour cream. Above add chopped lettuce and tomatoes.

Served at the table warm. Like most Mexican food, tacos with chicken eaten without cutlery.
